5 NFT podcasts worth checking out
As NFTs become more mainstream, more podcasts are entering the space. They’re a great way to keep up with the latest going-ons in the NFT world, listen to project founder interviews and understand what the hosts are looking to collect or consider in this very volatile market.
I’ve found this a really great way to to immerse myself in the world of NFTs - even whilst at the gym! And it helps find new and cool projects to add to my (ever growing) research list which can then be analysed using Evaluate Market’s tools.
Here are 5 excellent ones hosted by 'OGs' in the space that are worth checking out.
NFT Catcher
My favourite NFT podcast by far, NFT Catcher is hosted by Evaluate Market’s very own Jennifer Sutto (@jennifer_sutto) and co-host Michael Keen (@NFTicket).
Jennifer and Michael are both lively hosts that keep you up to date with the latest hot projects and news in the space. They are NFT ‘OGs’ who chat about things like market dynamics and turning a profit, but what I like is that it’s perfect for both the seasoned NFT trader or someone that is just looking to learn what the heck is going on with these expensive JPEGs!
They also have great on-air banter so you’re always looking forward to next episode. And they have started interviewing NFT project teams, with a particular highlight being the Cool Cats team who discussed how the mechanics of their new collection Cool Pets would work.
It usually comes out twice a week and they have even started doing Twitter Spaces now and then where you can ask them questions which makes things more interactive.

Two Bored Apes
Roy (@Zeneca_33, a popular NFT Twitter influencer and his friend Jaime (@JaimeMusings) host this informative podcast. They’re both owners of one of the most popular NFT collections, the Bored Ape Yacht Club, hence the title!
They talk about exciting and new stuff in the NFT space, in a more long form format. From NFT security to new trends in the space, and also Q&As (where listeners send in questions before hand), the podcast is useful to get in depth analysis of projects to look out for. And just to learn about how experienced collectors think, similar to NFT Catcher but it’s nice to get another perspective.

NFQueens
This podcast was created to highlight other women in the NFT space. It’s great to see as there definitely needs to be more in the space, and hopefully this can raise awareness and encourage other women to join.
It’s hosted by @kduck_nft and @HODLHil who chat to different women in the industry. Whether they’re project founders, influencers, collectors or somewhere in-between! They even had on @jennifer_sutto recently, where she talked about her NFT journey including starting with NBA Top Shot and some of her favourite projects.

Overpriced JPEGs
Apart from the awesome name, this is another must listen to podcast due to the knowledgeable host Carly Reilly (@carlypreilly) and the interesting NFT content provided.
Carly provides the latest NFT and metaverse news, and does interviews with the latest and greatest people in NFTs. A particular highlight for me is the episode where @betty_nft, the co-creator of the ‘bluechip’ project Deadfellaz, was interviewed. It was cool to see how she started the project with her husband when things were not going great in their lives financially, and how this project helped them to turn things around.
And they recently did a crossover episode with NFT Catcher podcast, where they discussed things like cool projects they are interested in and some controversies in the space. Worth listening to see if there’s anything you might want to consider adding to your Evaluate Market portfolio.

The First Mint
And finally, The First Mint is a podcast that initially focused on NBA Top Shot (an NFT Marketplace for collecting NBA scoring Moments collectibles), but also now has NFT experts and enthusiasts from a wide variety of collections come together.
It was founded by Luc Doucet(@LgDoucet), and I find the episodes where he just talks to the mic without any guests are the best. In fact recently he did a 2 part series on NFTs in 36 months. Essentially on how he thinks the biggest players will move and react as the space goes evermore mainstream. It was really interesting to get his informed perspective on what the future holds!
